    2010 CROSS & FLAME YOUTH CHOIR TOUR May 29 - June 6 Atlanta • Savannah • Orlando The Cross & Flame Youth Choir will depart for their annual summer choir tour on May 29. This year they will travel with First Methodist Church of Prattville’s Genesis Singers. They will travel to Georgia and Florida, making stops along the way to sing at various churches. The choirs will also participate in hands-on mission projects. Homecoming Concert! On Sunday, June 6, the tour will conclude with a Homecoming Concert at Trinity UMC. This will take place at 4:30 PM in the Sanctuary. All are invited to attend and to welcome Trinity’s youth choir back to Birmingham!

One is a tone poem vision of Psalm 23:2 He Leadeth Me Beside Still Waters This was written in the 1960s by an elegant American composer named James Rasley . As far as I know , he only left behind church music--both choral and organ . His Beside Still Waters makes use of String Flute voices , and calls for a Cello-range-colored solo passage .
